We are currently undertaking another fundraising exercise in order to purchase a third freezer van and rehabilitation equipment to donate to the Mercy & Health Foundation who are based in Kyiv.
In May and again in October I drove Mercedes Sprinter Vans, full of rehabilitation equipment to Kyiv. The vans was given to the Border Brigade to be used to transport the deceased as well as a general utility vehicle. Read the narratives of my recent trip to Ukraine: May 2024 and October 2024
The Mercy & Health Foundation, run by Dr Olexsandr Yatsyna (pictured below evacuating children from the recently bombed Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv), are urgently requesting another freezer van as well as funds to buy more rehabilitation equipment.
Therefore, we're looking to raise £15,000 and would be most grateful for any donations.
With an average of 300 people dying or being wounded each day, it's a desperate situation. Ac shocking statictic is that there are now over 41,000 people who have lost limb.
